Who invented the Popcorn Machine? Whomever did, is one step ahead of the home theater industry. If you want to have a professional movie theater installed in your home, but you’re holding back because you don’t have a Theater Popcorn Machine, you’re not alone.  Audio/Video technicians may be experts at installing audio and video, but what do they know about smell? A movie theater has to smell like a movie theater, right? These days, any audio-video installer with any integrity should not even consider installing a theater in your home if you don’t have a decent Theater Pop Corn Machine or Machine Candy Maker. If you’re going to watch movies without the movie theater aroma, you might as well stay in your living room in front of your 27″ Zenith and a bag of artificially-butter smelling microwaved popcorn. The Old Fashioned Popcorn Machine is an invention that never grows or smells old and outdated. In fact, your home theater will look and smell outdated without a Movie Theater Popcorn Machine

This Old Fashioned Popcorn Machine is made by, Maxi-matic. Maxi-Matic makes an abundance of quality home & kitchen products, and you can tell this is not a toy, but a genuine, high-quality popcorn machine. Making Theater Popcorn

Making popcorn with the Maximatic EPM-400 Popcorn Machine is easy, clean and fun. Plug the unit into an outlet. There are three switches: One for inside light and heater, two for heating the oil, and three for stirring the kettle. You can buy premixed popcorn with the oil and butter already in it, or you can use you plain popcorn with your own oil. Pour 2 Tablespoons of oil into the kettle and let it heat for about 3 – 4 minutes. Then, add 1 cup of plain ol’, regular, dry popcorn. Turn on the mixer switch, and within a 3 or 4 minutes, you will have about 1.5 quarts of delicious, fresh popcorn. Simply repeat the instructions as often as you like, or until the glass storage compartment is full.

Best Popcorn For Popcorn Machine

I recommend trying some of the premixed packages that use real butter and ingredients to emulate the authentic aroma and taste of movie-theater popcorn. We will rate some of the many brands in an upcoming, future review.

Old Fashioned PopCorn Machine Features

The other great part about this popcorn maker is how easy it is to clean. The bottom of the tray has holes which collect unpopped kernals. Unused kernals can be easily sweeped with your hand into the holes where underneath lies a convenient, slide out tray for discarding them. The inside of the glass can be wiped down very easily with a damp cloth. Also, the kettle can be completely removed for easy clean-up, which is not necessary until it’s been used several times. This machine is a Poppers Popcorn Paradise.
